Life Post-Graduation

As many recent graduates will testify, life post-graduation is nothing what one might expect. Since receiving my degrees last May, I have had many ups and downs. I am fortunate enough to be back home in the beautiful city of Boise; however, I dearly miss the equally interesting city of Spokane. Furthermore, my friends, professors, and employers in Washington are never far from my thoughts.

To my surprise, I have found a job at the prestigious law office of Eberle, Berlin, Turnbow, Kading, & McKlveen. Yes, most of those men are long gone and by that, I mean dead. Please bear in mind, the law office was established in 1906. Nevertheless, the firm is still one of the best in Idaho with 14 attorneys actively practicing. The attorneys, as well as most of the secretaries are wonderful. I look forward to researching, learning, making mistakes, researching, and making more mistakes in the near future. As one attorney once told me, "The only way to learn is to severely mess up." My response was, "Ok, since you say that, I should tell you..."

Nevertheless, I have officially settled in for life "post-graduation."
